Return & right of withdrawal
At BSS PDR Tools (Balmer Storm Solutions), we attach great importance to the quality of our products. All PDR tools are carefully developed by us and manufactured in Switzerland using 3D printing.
Please note that 3D-printed products may show visible traces of the manufacturing process. These do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for complaint.
1. right of withdrawal for EU customers
Withdrawal period
Consumers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without giving reasons.
The withdrawal period begins:
- with the day on which you or a third party named by you received the goods.
Exercise of revocation
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by e-mail at:
stating your order number.
Consequences of revocation
After receipt and inspection of the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price of the products using the same means of payment that was used for the original transaction.
Return costs
The customer shall bear the costs of the return shipment, provided the goods do not have any material or manufacturing defects.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- customized or personalized products

tools specially manufactured at the customer’s request
(Art. 16 lit. c EU Directive 2011/83/EU)
2. returns for customers from Switzerland
For customers residing in Switzerland, we voluntarily grant a return option within 7 days of receipt of the goods.
Prerequisites:
- unused and undamaged goods
- no signs of use
- Normal 3D print marks are not considered a defect
- Prior contact required
3. shipping costs & franking (very important)
Shipping costs

Shipping costs will not be refunded unless
the return is due to a demonstrable material
or manufacturing defect.
Franked items
As soon as an order has been paid, processed and franked, the shipping costs are finally incurred.
➡️ These costs are non-refundable, even if the goods:
- has not yet been physically shipped or
- the customer subsequently cancels the order.
4 Cancellations before shipment

Cancellation is only possible
as long as the order has not yet been prepared or franked. -
If the consignment has already been prepared or franked:
- Shipping costs

Payment and transaction fees
will not be refunded, as we have already incurred these costs.

- Contact us by e-mail stating the order number
- Return only after prior authorization
- Return to the address provided
- Inspection of the goods upon receipt
- Information about refund or exchange
